Mmmm, Rabbit Stew

We returned from the farm this weekend with turnips and a couple onions and decided this would be the perfect opportunity for rabbit stew. Very gratifying to create a meal from our own hands. Just the beginning for us I think.

Yeah-at 2 days old its hard to think that way. But by the time they are 3 months old, its a different story. They are no less cute, but it is just time-that is the reason we have them!

Yum! I have a 10 wk old in the fridge right now, waiting to fulfill his destiny. ;)

I agree that it's hard to think of them as food when they are just a few days old. But as they get bigger, they start to look more like food.
